The Flawed Mans Cry
He falls to his knees and he cry’s
He shouts for tomorrow
Yesterday won’t seem to die
His hysterical screams
And the waterfall of tears
Cause people to stop and stare
We can’t come to grips
With nightmares he can’t share
He’s laughed at by friends
And he’s taunted by foes
While all he can do is just cry
The fears of a flawed man
Work to cause him pain
As he struggles and strive to find his way
He follows a road no one can follow
He falls to his knees and he screams
“Can’t anybody help me?
Won’t anyone rescue me from this hell?
I seek and I search
I scream and I cry
The pain is becoming too much to bare
I want to end this
I want to something to break
The ties to a past I can’t release
But I can’t just let go
And I seem to forget
The fears of a flawed man are taking me over
So I cry the flawed mans cry
I scream to a world that doesn’t care
They’ve thrown me straight to hell
A hell that just won’t seem to end
They all let me fall
I don’t want to die
And now I must pull myself out
I say good night but not goodbye
I failed and so I cry
But I will fight to try again
As I cry the flawed mans cry
So I cry the flawed mans cry

Successes and Slip-ups
Punishment for a mistake
We love to live in success, and spotlights;
And hate to be seen as failures
Which causes a question
Why don't we always try our hardest?
Constantly beating ourselves up
Just because we didn't do something right
does it seem right,
to be so harsh on ones self?
We may not always be able to try again
But can't we try new ideas and learn?
Perhaps we deserve what we do to ourselves
Perhaps we feel victimized by others
But our successes make us so happy
They are achievements that we did
Why should all those bad thoughts and failures weigh us down?
Forget them they don't make you feel good
Just think of all the people who are proud of you for what went right
Think about what you've done to make yourself happy
if the lives of people are good then they are successful
then they can proceed with more successes

A hatred With A Heart
A hatred that is blind
When left alone
Never leaves others alone
A hatred that forgets
Forgets what happened to it
A hatred with a heart
That hatred remembers
Only when realizing it’s hated
It remembers itself
When it was treated how it treats others
A hatred with a heart that went out of control
The hatred that could have loved
Chose out of instinct
When it had the chance
It took what it learned
Embraced that knowledge
What a cold grip
It gave that knowledge a hug
Then put it to use
A hatred with a heart a scarred heart
Desperate for vengeance
The hatred took the vengeance
Used it on the wrong people
A hatred with a heart
A heart turned to iron
Only softened when it sees what it’s done
A hatred with a heart
A heart turned soft
A hatred converted
To kindness
